Our tree-planting impact
Every order placed on veryplants.com or veryplants.ca plants one tree. It is funded automatically through our partner Sprout by GoodAPI, so there is nothing to add at checkout.

How it works
- You place an order.
- Sprout records one tree for that order and funds it with the planting partner.
- Local crews plant mangroves along the Kenyan coast. Veritree logs each planting session and verifies it with field, drone and satellite data.
Where the trees are planted
Our trees go to GoodAPI's Kenya Mangroves project in Kilifi, on the Kenyan coast, which restores mangrove forest in partnership with Veritree. Veritree tracks each planting site and issues the verification records that Sprout reports back to us.
How we check the number
The number above is Sprout's count of trees planted for our orders. This page reads it live from Sprout. If that request fails, you see the last figure we checked by hand in the Sprout dashboard, with the date. Last checked by hand: 23 September 2026.
What we do not claim
We do not make carbon-offset or carbon-neutral claims, and the tree count is not an audit of Veryplants' environmental footprint. It is one specific thing we fund with every order. Questions about how a particular order was counted? Email info@veryplants.com.
